Welcome to my Lake Side Tea
My RV adventures and road trip has taken around Lake Erie and today I'm stopping for a cup of coffee and lunch on the lake.
The fire king mug was gifted to me from my brother Ralph many years after my mom passed away. It goes with me everywhere (even into restaurants) and I drink my coffee from it all the time. It is just one of the few things in life that brings me pleasure in the day.
For lunch today we had beef broth with homemade dumplings that my son Matthew made for me to take on my road trip across Canada (I only have 6 dumplings left), smoked turkey breast that he put in my fridge the night before and I found and just assumed it was mine as he smoked it himself, sliced tomato from a roadside stand of vegetables, fresh carrots from a farmer's market, mustard pickles made two weeks before our trip (with intentions of leaving many jars with my mother-in-law in Ottawa as this has been the only thing I've ever heard whisper from her lips that she has ever asked for). And last but not least "Go for a Dip Dill" a wonderful combination of dried herbs from the Stars for Life Foundation for Autism that I picked from the venor table that was beside mine at the P.E.I Seaglass Festival in Souris where I took my seaglass bling and things.
Yesterday our road trip adventures took us to Indian Falls, Spirit Rock, Wiarton Willie and Tobermory, it was an amazing day and you can read and see all about itf at the French Gardener's Blog where he wrote about yesterdays adventure (a must visit - if only for the pictures) so I could share in tea today with Sandi over at Tea Time Tuesday.

It is time to get on the Road to our next destination Sudbury, we might not make it all the way as we are in a storm and high winds.

What a lovely spot to stop for lunch, Cindy! I think it's wonderful that you take your mug everywhere you go. I love sentiment. I have a couple of pieces of Bridal Rose. I haven't been to these areas in years . I do however love going to lake Erie as it is a few minuets drive from us . Glad you are enjoying your trip around Ontario the weather has been so up and down here for this time of year ! Hope you have good weather for the resat of your trip . Thanks for sharing .
