Looks like my blog posts might be stacking on top of each other like an archiveal graveland in satalite space somewhere. We haven't had any tower service and well I don't want to waste this perfect opportunity and post, so I'm going to share anyway.
Milkweed grows wild along the road sides and dissapleared for a number of years. It is essential to the Monarch Butterflies. Yup, that was me in the ditch when you drove by honking the horn, I let loose about 5000 seeds into your little area, nice.

Essential to Point Pelee, Ontario Lake Erie and other areas so I have pockets full

I followed it out to the beach, I'm in my bliss - milkweed - beach - maybe seaglass?

Pretty views . . . I love milk weed pods too and have been spreading the seeds in my neighborhood. Groomed lawn people probably won't be happy. I try for the open field like areas though . . . We have wide open spaces around us . . .

Lovely photos ! yes next year I am growing milk weed in my wild garden for the Monarchs I grow a lot of cone flowers for them to . Point Pelee is a lovely sanctuary for all kinds of nature and is a lovely place to walk along the docks in the marsh and take photos, I love the land and nature that is down by lake Erie . Thanks for sharing , it is chilly today , stay cozy and have a good weekend !

So good you are spreading the milkweed seeds. The monarchs really need them. My nephews' school group was able to get some funds to plant milkweed where they live near Denver, because the monarch population has gone down.
