October is Breast Cancer Awarness Month and in tribute to BCA I'm Thinking Pink today and if all goes well with pictures I'll share my post with my neighbour in Prince Edward Island who also hosts a little tea time.
"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."- L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables
I have the best of both worlds at the moment; my home is on an Island with Anne of Green Gables and I'm living out of my RV traveling across Canada as we speak.
I lost someone dear to me years ago and Pink Popcorn reminds me of her.
Pink also reminds me of sweet and innocent Anastasia and her little "broder" as she says.
My pink phone box was sliding back and forth on my work table so a little tac took care of that.
A gift shop was just busting with pink glass and we all know how i love glass.
A borrowed tea cup from the internet to share in Tea Time Tuesday.
Breast Cancer has affected many of us in one way or another - lost a friend, a loved one or someone even closer, ourselves. Way too many wonderful lives have been lost to this disease.

My Notes
Many coincidences have happened over the past 2 weeks since we left our little island. I started writing them down, like arriving at Tecumseh monument on the anniversary of his death, visiting a guests from last summer and she was seaglassing the night before, cash register receipt 666, reading food tastes better with company while we end up at Kelly's table that evening, I just watched a man put a note on my windshield that says "Hi, I moved here from P.E.I 49 years ago today, and I go home to PEI every year." Attached, is his name and phone number, ya you bet I'm goe might be related to my fishing buddy Norman Peters, ha ha ha
Sitting in Leamington, Ontario this am. News of a ship stopping around the Point Pelee when someone took very sick. They were trasnported by ferry to the hospital in Leamington - haven't heard the update as of yet.
A retired police officer in the Wal-mart parking lot informed us that our license plate was elligal in Ontario (long story, short) "Retired"

I do like all that pink glass soo pretty ! I hope the retired cop was joking cause as long as your license plate is registered with the Canadian license bureau your fine personal license plates are not illegal here . Yes it would be great to have a cure for all cancers ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
I stand corrected about the license plate they band profanity from them !

Stopping by via Tea Time Tuesday.
So sorry for your loss, praying for a cure.
Much love.
A nice on-the-road tribute to tea time and BCA month. Have a good afternoon.
As soon as I saw the pink popcorn it reminded of the boxes with the elephant on that we ate as kids.
Your journaling is producing some interesting events and I'm sure you'll fill lots of pages.
Glad to have tea with you this week Cindy and think of those pink people special to us.
Hi Cindy ... Sounds like your enjoying yourself... Nice post for ' Pink Awareness" and some unusual coincidences( Ha ha) ..Just makes the road trip even more enjoyable...thanks for sharing...hugs
Hi Cindy,
I so appreciate you taking the time on your travels to join up with me for Tea Time. Oh, my, my, my, all that beautiful cranberry glass has me swooning! I see so many lovely pieces that I don't have.
I thought you were probably closed for the season {and I still didn't get there to your tea room}. I had my whole entire family home in July so you know I was very busy all of June getting ready for them and of course after they left, I was totally exhausted. I hardly left the house after that for about a month. So, that is why I didn't get there. Let me know when you get back and Hubby will take me up. Enjoy your travels and I hope you get great weather all the way.
Blessings,
Sandi
